Buying a Home how long does it take? This is an excellent question and for almost every buyer the answer can be different. But the best answer is it depends on you and what you are looking for in a home. There are many factors which may affect the time it takes for you to close on a home. These factors include but are not limited to 1. Does your credit need work? 2. How long have you been at your current employer? 3. Are you in a lease and when does it expire? 4. Do you need to save a little more money? 5. Just how picky are you? This is the real question. The great thing is we can help with all of these questions when you decide to buy a home. When everything is set and you are ready to look at properties you could be in your new home anywhere from 30 – 90 days. Depending on the loan product you choose many lenders like to have 45 days to get everything done but this can be determined once you have chosen your lender.
Most buyers look at about ten properties before they purchase but our clients on average look at two properties. Why so few well because we listen to our clients and design a search based on their wants and show them properties that fit their criteria not just any property hoping they will hurry up and purchase a home.
